## Relevant experience

-   Established a critical care division and surgical ICU service at the Atlanta VA Medical Center, 2016–2018
-   Directed a cardiovascular surgical ICU at Emory University Hospital, 2017–2026, and oversaw its serial redesign and expansion to 48 beds
-   Leading and growing a critical care division from 20 to 40 faculty, 2019–
-   Associate Director of a critical care center spanning seven hospitals, roughly 370 ICU beds, and more than 100 physicians, 2022–
-   Founded a national council of anesthesiology critical care service chiefs, 2022; led a society's bylaws revision and first policy manual, 2024–2025
-   Co-author, Society of Critical Care Medicine 2024 Guidelines on Adult ICU Design
