## A forum for service chiefs

In 2022 I founded SOCCA's Service Chiefs' Advisory Council to connect the people who run anesthesiology critical care practices. It gives them a standing forum for clinical operations, institutional engagement, and workforce questions, and it now runs a national benchmarking survey of staffing and financial models. It has 171 representatives from 107 institutions. I chaired it through 2025 and now serve as Immediate Past Chair.
