## Dissemination and uptake of clinical information

Where people look for information about critical illness, what they find, and whether attention has anything to do with uptake. Search-engine and Wikipedia data on sepsis; altmetrics against bibliometrics; nudge interventions and ventilator compliance; who uses free educational apps, by country income.

## Critical care organization and workforce

How critical care services are staffed, designed, and sustained: the national practice survey of anesthesiology intensivists, the subspecialty sustainability consensus, the 2024 ICU design guidelines, and the SCAC benchmarking work on staffing and financial models.

## Airway management and mechanical ventilation

The physiologically difficult airway: a review, an international Delphi consensus, a meta-analysis of induction agents, and the argument about video laryngoscopy.

## Machine learning on clinical data

Whether general-purpose language models can read ICU notes the way clinicians do; annotated datasets to test that; offline reinforcement learning on ECMO management; time-series foundation models on physiologic signals. Exploratory, and none of it is deployed at the bedside.
